CHRIS KLENTZMAN NAMED GENERAL MANAGERWednesday, August 16, 2006 -- Washington, DC -- Phoenix International, Inc., (Phoenix) is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris A. Klentzman, P.E. to General Manager of its Largo, MD facility. Mr. Klentzman will have responsibility for engineering, diving, ROV, and Submarine Rescue operations. Phoenix’s Norfolk, VA and Honolulu, HI offices will also report to him. Mr. Klentzman has been with Phoenix for 1.5 years, opening Phoenix’s successful Norfolk, Virginia operations center. Previously, he was Vice President and General Manager of Marine Services for Oceaneering International, Inc. Chris has been involved in the management of offshore operations and associated engineering for over 24 years. He has provided successful leadership for numerous engineering, diving, and ROV related projects. Mike Kutzleb, President of Phoenix, stated, "Chris’s experience, education, and overall leadership qualities make him ideal to position Phoenix for continued success and further growth. It is a pleasure to welcome such an accomplished professional to head our operations for the future."
