Al Robichaux Named GENERAL MANAGER FOR Phoenix Louisiana OFFICEMonday, July 23, 2007 -- Bayou Vista, LA -- Phoenix International, Inc. (Phoenix) is pleased to announce the appointment of Al Robichaux as General Manager of its Bayou Vista, LA facility. Mr. Robichaux will have responsibility for the daily operation of the complex. The Bayou Vista facility provides underwater welding, diving, ROV, and ADS services to the Gulf of Mexico oil and gas industry as well as welder-divers conducting waterborne ship repairs for the U.S. Navy. Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Robichaux spent ten years in the offshore supply vessel industry holding positions as an operations manager and project manager. He was active in the Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA) as the chairman of the Liftboat committee and participated on many of the National Offshore Safety Advisory Committee (NOSAC) sub committees addressing diverse vessel operation issues. Mr. Robichaux holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Administration from Louisiana State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Tulane University. Phoenix provides manned and unmanned underwater operations, design engineering, and project management services to clients in the offshore oil & gas, defense, and other ocean-interest industries worldwide. Expertise is available from six regional offices in the areas of wet and dry hyperbaric welding, conventional and atmospheric diving, robotic systems, and tooling.
