Position: Operator Technician - MD
Description: The Operator Technician will
participate in the maintenance, repair and operation of complex underwater
search and recovery systems and subsystems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 | Maintain complex search and recovery systems (side scan sonars, remotely
operated vehicles) and their launch and recovery systems |
| Operate, troubleshoot, and repair search and recovery systems, subsystems,
and ancillary equipment in the offshore environment |
| Maintain and operate all deck machinery |
| Maintain logs, records, and documentation updates |
| Comply with company policies and safety standards |
Requirements:
| Associate degree, two years of formal mechanical and
hydraulic training, or four years of equivalent work experience |
| Two years of field experience maintaining and repairing
diesel generator sets, hydraulic power and control equipment, manipulators,
and hydraulic tools |
| Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical and
hydraulic schematics |
| Familiar with both steel and aluminum welding |
| Understanding of offshore rigging and safety practices |
