PHOENIX MOVES TO LARGO, MD

Saturday, September 30, 2006 -- Washington, DC -- Phoenix International, Inc., (Phoenix) is pleased to announce the relocation of its Landover, Maryland facility to new spaces in Largo, Maryland. The continued growth of government and commercial business necessitated the move into a 100,000 sq. ft. office and warehouse complex located near the Largo Metro station, and approximately 10 miles east of downtown Washington, D.C.

The move accommodates a significant increase in staff and the equipment maintenance and housing requirements of Phoenix’s existing U.S. Navy and commercial contracts. The facility also provides abundant assembly space for several major engineering development projects. Phoenix was recently awarded the re-competition of the Navy’s Undersea Operations contract by which it operates and maintains the Nation’s most comprehensive and sophisticated capabilities in underwater search and recovery to water depths of 6,000 meters. In addition to the new complex, Phoenix maintains offices in Norfolk, Virginia; Bayou Vista, Louisiana; Houston, Texas; and Honolulu, Hawaii, and has a presence in San Diego, California.

Company President, Michael Kutzleb, stated the new facility “… allows us to better respond to the dynamic marketplace we are experiencing. We are now able to provide the room essential to our growing engineering division and the warehouse space needed for on-going large systems integration projects.
