Largo Facility

Phoenix has a facility in Largo, MD that serves as the center for the company’s government and non-oil and gas activities. This 110,000 sq. ft. facility is 10½ miles from Washington, DC, just outside the Beltway and right across the street from the Blue Line Metro terminus at Largo Town Center. It contains approximately 36,000 sq. ft. of office space which houses the administrative and accounting functions for the company, and also serves as the base for the Phoenix engineering department.

The 73,000 sq. ft. warehouse contains both company and customer owned deep water work systems. Systems include all deep ocean search and recovery equipment that Phoenix maintains and operates under contract to the US Navy’s Supervisor of Salvage and Diving, ranging from single operator, shallow water search and recovery systems to very large, deep ocean systems capable of operation down to 6,000 msw. Operations teams for this equipment, as well as Phoenix owned deep water Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) systems capable of operating to similar depths, are based in this facility and are ready for deployment on a 24/7 basis to respond to emergency missions worldwide.
