San Diego Offices

The San Diego facilities are Phoenix International’s West Coast hub providing support for Navy Diving Services, Navy Submarine Rescue and a variety of other commercial and government clients.

The San Diego work force is divided between two locations: A comercial facility and the Submarine Rescue Group.

Our commercial facility houses our underwater services group where we maintain a variety of diving systems and our Submarine Rescue Group maintains and operates the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Rescue and Diving Recompression System (SRDRS) at the Deep Submergence Unit facility on Naval Air Station North Island.   

Specific operations provided by Phoenix San Diego to both Navy and Commercial customers include:

  Underwater Wet and Dry Hyperbaric Welding
  Topside Welding
  Cofferdam Design, Build & Installation
  Hull Inspection and Failure Analysis
  Rigging, Maintenance and Repair of Ship Underwater Components
  Underwater Construction Diving Operations Support
  Maintenance and Operation of SRDRS, One Atmosphere Diving Suits (ADS), and Submarine Rescue Chambers.
