ROV Operations

Phoenix operates and maintains its own fleet of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and those of the US Navy’s Supervisor of Salvage and Diving. The sophistication and capability of these systems ranges from inspection-only ROVs to complex, heavy work systems capable of operating in 6000 msw. ROV systems and associated support equipment are pre-positioned in the Mediterranean, Pacific Ocean, and US East and West Coasts for rapid response to global operational requirements.

Phoenix ROV systems support a variety of internal and customer missions, including:

  • Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair
  • Mooring and Buoy Installation
  • Rig and Drilling Support
  • Accident and Forensic Investigations
  • Recovery Operations
  • Route and As-Built Surveys
  • System Installation
  • Optical Documentation
  • Biological and Oceanographic Sampling
  • Sub-sea Cable Installation and Maintenance Support

Phoenix ROV systems support the latest underwater video and lighting technologies including high definition video and HMI lighting systems. Constant system evaluation and upgrades ensure that our vehicles are technologically current and that we can continue to meet our customer requirements.
