Eligibility Requirements
To be considered a small business for U.S. government subcontracting purposes, a company must:
- Be independently owned and operated
- Be for-profit
- Have principal operations in the U.S., or contribute significantly to the U.S. economy through tax payments or the use of American products, materials, or labor
- Meet the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standards under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for the relevant product or service
