The Largo, MD office serves as the headquarters of Phoenix International Holdings, Inc., supporting company-wide operations across the U.S. and abroad.

This facility includes:

  • 24,000 sq. ft. of office space
  • 73,500 sq. ft. of warehouse space
  • 1 dedicated testing tank

From this location, Phoenix provides centralized administrative, logistical, and technical support to over 250 employees nationwide. The Largo office also houses key elements of our Undersea Operations and Engineering Services, delivering expert solutions to both commercial and military clients.

Undersea Operations

From our Largo, MD headquarters, Phoenix conducts worldwide unmanned underwater operations to depths of up to 6,000 meters (20,000 feet of seawater).

These operations include:

Deployment and operation of advanced subsea intervention systems, including:

  • Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV)
  • Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)
  • Deepwater Sonar Systems
  • Specialized Subsea Tooling

These systems support a wide array of mission-critical services, such as:

  • Deep ocean search & recovery
  • Geophysical and hydrographic surveys
  • Subsea inspection and intervention

Phoenix also operates and maintains multiple U.S. Navy-owned ROVs and underwater search systems under contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). All equipment is housed at our Largo facility and is deployable worldwide for rapid response and sustained undersea operations.

Engineering

The Largo office also serves as the primary hub for Phoenix’s subsea-focused engineering department. Our engineering teams specialize in the design, development, and integration of complex underwater systems to support a wide range of marine projects. With a deep understanding of the subsea environment and a practical, solutions-driven approach, our engineers are at the forefront of innovation in underwater technologies.

All engineering work is governed by our ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System (QMS), which ensures quality assurance through disciplined, well-defined, and controlled processes.

Test Tank

The tank at our Largo, MD office is a 21,000-gallon, self-contained test tank located just outside or our warehouse. The tank measures 21’ L X 12’ W X 12’ deep and is surrounded on 2 sides by an aluminum catwalk with a staircase and egress ladder.  The tank features two observation windows to allow for viewing of undersea systems during testing.  A staging platform beside the tank offers an ideal location for pre-dive tests, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
