Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. (Phoenix) is pleased to announce that a full scale model replica of our HARDSUIT™ Atmospheric Diving System (ADS) is currently on loan to the Lafayette Science Museum (LSM) and is featured in their brand new exhibit ENERGY UNEARTHED: The Science of Petroleum Exploration beginning October 21st, 2017.
An exhibit showcasing the science of oil exploration and production, ENERGY UNEARTHED is designed to show visitors how oil is formed and found, explored and extracted, and how petroleum products are created and consumed. In addition to our OceanWorks manufactured ADS model, the exhibit also includes geologic samples, digital interactives, and petroleum related equipment aimed at telling the story of the oil industry and its vital role in Louisiana’s economy and around the globe.
“The 1,200fsw depth rated, one-man, one-atmosphere ADS, owned and operated by Phoenix, is an advanced technological approach to commercial diving that has proven to be a valuable tool within the Oil and Gas industry,” stated Tom Bissett, Phoenix ADS Manager.
