Our Largo, Maryland office serves as headquarters for Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. With a total of 24,000 sq. feet of office space, 1 testing tank, and 73,500 sq. feet of warehouse space, this location is ideally suited for in-house support of our 250+ employees throughout the U.S., as well as encompassing our Undersea Operations and Engineering services to both Commercial and Military Clients alike.

Undersea Operations
From our Largo office, Phoenix executes worldwide unmanned underwater operations to depths of 6,000 meters (20,000 feet of seawater). These operations involve subsea intervention systems, including our Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), deepwater sonar systems and other robotic systems, and subsea tooling in support of our deep ocean search and recovery efforts, geophysical surveys, and other subsea operational related services.
In addition to the operation and maintenance of our own fleet of ROVs and subsea survey equipment, we operate and maintain several U.S. Navy owned ROVs and underwater search equipment through a contract we hold with the Naval Sea Systems Command. All of these systems are housed at our Largo facility and deploy globally for deep ocean search and recovery operations.
Engineering
Our Largo office also serves as the primary home of our subsea focused engineering department. Phoenix engineers specialize in designing and building of underwater systems to assist in accomplishing projects in the marine environment. Phoenix’s ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System (QMS) emphasizes assurance of engineering quality through controlled, disciplined, and well-defined work processes. Phoenix’s engineering capabilities encompass designing, building, testing, and integrating manned diving systems, tools, underwater sensors, structures, energy sources, and underwater vehicles.
Test Tank
The tank at our Largo, MD office is a 21,000-gallon, self-contained test tank located just outside or our warehouse. The tank measures 21’ L X 12’ W X 12’ deep and is surrounded on 2 sides by an aluminum catwalk with staircase and egress ladder. The tank features two observation windows to allow for viewing of undersea systems during testing. A staging platform beside the tank offers an ideal location for pre-dive tests, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
